Taking Time to Reflect
Here at Shepherd’s Pantry as things settle from the busy holiday season, we would like to take some time to reflect on our accomplishments from 2021. Although we saw improvements throughout the year things continued to be difficult for many of our neighbors. It was through the generous donations of many individuals, businesses, and foundations that we continued to serve strong and provide much-needed support to the many affected by the pandemic. In 2021 we provided services to 17,693 households which affected approximately 46,350 people! That alone is something we are very proud of. However, one of the highlights of 2021 for Shepherd’s Pantry was our Christmas toy store where with the generous donations of the community we were able to provide toys to 228 households impacting approximately 500 children. Shepherd’s Pantry would like to thank every single donor and volunteer because without them we could not have made such great accomplishments. We continue to ask for everyone’s support and look forward to serving those in need in 2022.
