Christmas Toy Store

On Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm we held our Christmas Toy Store for the people we serve at the Pantry. Parents selected over 650 unwrapped toys for their children, then enjoyed a pancake breakfast compliments of Glenkirk Church's Men's Ministry, while their toys were being gift wrapped by local girl scout troops from Glendora. It was a magical day for everyone!

Thanks to all the groups who contributed to this event by making toy donations: "The Cake Mama's" in Glendora; Grace Church in La Verne; Employees of NHRA in Glendora; Excelitas Corp. in Covina; Glenkirk Church Glendora; and many others.

The Cake Mama's

Many, many thanks to "The Cake Mama's" in Glendora for all the wonderful Christmas toys collected at their Kid's Cupcake Camp held at Glendora High School on Saturday, December 17, 2011. More than 500 toys were donated by the event attendees all of which were donated to Shepherd's Pantry. This was their first event and it was a tremendous success. Watch for this event in 2012.

Food Donations

We are in need of food donations: Any type of non-perishable food items or toiletry products will be welcomed. Our normal food sources have decreased significantly so we really need your help! We are forced to purchase more food which is placing a strain on our financial resources.
