Shepherd’s Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit food bank 
located in Glendora, CA. In 2004 we began as a free non-
perishable food home delivery service to residents of 
Glendora and surrounding communities. Demand for our 
services grew quickly and we expanded from one to two 
rental storage units. In early 2005, we decided to search for 
a local facility so we could offer walk-in service. In late 2005, 
we found an ideal facility and moved-in January 2006. We 
officially opened our walk-in facility to the public on April 12, 
2006. The response has been terrific. We served more than 
2,500 people in 2006 and that number grew to 4,717 in 2007: 
we expect to serve over 6,000 people in 2008.
